About Us

Sriharans Solicitors incorporated Chatwani & Co in November 1989 in which Mr. Sriharan was a Partner. The Firm has been hailed as a flagship Immigration and Property Law Firm since 1987 with many reported Immigration cases in the Court of Appeal and the House of Lords. Throughout the years we have offered multilingual legal advisers to thousands of Immigration clients from various ethnic origins and nationalities and continue in this tradition.

Sriharans took part in the pilot Fast Track regime in Harmondsworth Detention Centre and Yarlswood Detention Centre when it was launched by the Legal Services Commission and the Home Office.

The Firm has three Accredited Supervisors and five Level 2 Senior Caseworkers accredited in Immigration and Asylum Law by the Legal Services Commission and the Law Society. Since 1987 to date we have provided services under Legal Aid and are proud to continue to hold a Legal Aid franchise and a Special Quality Mark awarded by the Legal Services Commission.

The Firm has a vibrant Property Conveyancing Department. Sriharans Solicitors undertake residential and commercial property transactions, which are carried out by experienced Solicitors. In 2011 the Firm was awarded Conveyancing Quality Mark by the Law Society under their Conveyancing Quality Scheme and has been a Member ever since.

Sriharans Solicitors was also awarded a Legal Aid contract to carry out work in Family and Child Care Law by the Legal Services Commission in February 2012 and has had conduct of many successful Private and Legal Aid Family Law cases.

Sriharans Solicitors also have an active Commercial and Civil Litigation Department. The Firm possess a team of hard-working, efficient and multilingual Solicitors, Caseworkers and Support Staff.
