About Us

We are a non-profit making, non-political Registered Charity (No. 1093924), providing volunteers, information, advice and assistance to everyone in our local communities, specifically for the Tamils who are in need of assistance. Our catchments area includes Coventry and Warwickshire.

We are a member of Volunteering England and enjoy a close association with Council for Voluntary Service based in Coventry. We are an Equal Opportunities organisation and work in line with an Equal Opportunities code of practice.

HOW THE ASSOCIATION IS MANAGED

Trustees of the Association manage the Association. It consists of a Chairperson, Senior Vice Chairperson, Junior Vice Chairperson, Hon Treasurer, Hon Secretary. In addition we also have sixteen committee members as part of the executive committee of the Association. The school administration is the responsibility of Smt Ponmani VEEMAN JAI GANESH

This committee is comprised of local people with a wide range of representation including volunteers and people with particular skills or experience.

HOW THE ASSOCIATION IS FINANCED

Our main funding is from our members who are generous and wanting to help the people who are in need.

The Association is in consultation with Volunteering England, Coventry Voluntary Service Council to raise funds for our community work. We also receive donations from local businesses and individuals for which we are extremely grateful. Organised fundraising generates additional funds.
