Dhamecha has been involved in export for almost twenty years, its products finding a market on every major continent but especially in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. It has direct access to its own stocks of over 12,000 products from its cash & carry estate, as well as being the largest member of Today’s Group, the biggest wholesale buying group in Europe.

Dhamecha has also cultivated strong trading partnerships with all the major UK suppliers during almost forty years of trading and can draw on a total range of over 25,000 products for export. This is reflected in the competitive pricing levels Dhamecha can provide across the various product ranges, as well as the regular deep-cut promotions featuring on a continuous basis: one-day, one-week and three-week offers.

Over the years, Dhamecha has cultivated strong relationships with all of the major UK manufacturers and suppliers and has, as a result, gained vast product knowledge across the categories of grocery, confectionery and non-foods.

The Team

Based in Wembley, Dipak Karia heads up Dhamecha’s Export Division which, just like the cash & carry business, blends a friendly, informal, personal touch with a high degree of professionalism. Over many years he has helped develop great expertise in sourcing and assembling competitively-priced products for worldwide delivery, as well as being able to recommend reliable, efficient, haulage and shipping.

The Approach

Dhamecha Export aims to create a point of difference in many of the aspects of the ordering and collection procedure.

As a company, Dhamecha has always set great store by its customer service and this is no different within the Export Division. Dhamecha will construct your export order at its Wembley and Watford bases in full- or part-containers, allowing you to purchase across its vast range of products (minimum quantities may apply).

Customers are invited to come along and see Dhamecha Export’s warehouse operation, product range, competitive and promotional prices, and are able to see, or even supervise, the loading of their container. Pallet loading is provided free of charge, whilst loading by hand to ensure the most efficient, compact load is offered at a nominal charge, it is usually saved in lower freight costs and it reduces the risk of stock movement in transit. It also affords customers the ability to double-check their order during loading. Customers may also send part-filled containers for completion.

Dhamecha recommends particular London hauliers for specific countries of destination. These hauliers are chosen for their flexibility when it comes to service levels: they are usually able to collect at short notice on a daily basis.

Dhamecha offers very simple payment terms and a full audit trail from order to delivery.
