Description

Tandoor Haus is a cylindrical clay oven used in northern India in which food is cooked over a hot charcoal fire. Temperatures in a tandoor can approach 480°C (900°F). The oldest example of a tandoori was found in the Harappa and Mohenjodaro settlements of the ancient Indus Valley Civilization. The tandoor is used for baking bread and also roasting meat.

The bread is cooked directly on the upper walls of the oven. Seafood and meat cook in the tandoor are first marinate then roaste. Food cook in a tandoor retains all the natural juices, flavor and taste inside and hence is considere very healthy.
